French Walnut Table Detail
This French Walnut Table was made from hand chosen boards. The legs are 3 1/2" diameter and turned on the lathe. The top is a selected glue-up of three boards that exhibit beautiful figuring, much like a curly maple. It has a central drawer. The finish is a museum quality hand polished waxed shellac. It is tomorrow's antique!

This mahogany Table Base was made for an existing top of copper speckled granite. The foot is 24" in diameter and 3" high. The column is 6 1/2" wide. The column is turned on the lathe between centers. The top and base are turned platter style on a face plate. The stain is a light blue-black glaze that allows the mahagony color to show through. This catches the copper speckles in the granite quite nicely. The base is designed to allow the stockinged foot a play surface.
